Hello:

I am a public radio announcer at Folk Radio WUMB out of Boston. My show here is called Highway 61 Revisited and it is a pastiche of 60's and 70's folk, folk-rock, country rock and the like. I also add current artists who cover those songs to keep it all a bit more contemporary and less a strict "oldies" format. The show airs Saturday mornings from 8-12 EST. We stream live on the web at www.wumb.org

I know it is supposed to have disappeared, but do you have any idea how I could obstain a copy of the Kevin Ryan Dylan Hears A Who? Obviously, I cannot, and would not air it since it isn't licensed or legal, but since I am a Bobophile , I would love a copy for myself. I understand the Dr. Suess folks intervened, and that is their right, I suppose, but also rather sad. I mean wasn't Geisel/Suess in it for the joy and amusement from the get-go?! Oh well, we DO live in a litigious society, don't we?!

Anyway, if you could help or steer me in the right direction I would be most appreciative. Again, no nefarious intentions here at all, just a man who loves Dylan and any attempts to have a good laugh at what appeared to be a wonderful and innocent idea!

Regards and many thanks,

Barnes Newberry

I found Todd's name in a Google search which brought me here...

Starting in September, 2004, I worked with Todd at the Trader Joe's Easton store. In fact, Tim Harper and Todd interviewed me for a part-time job there. Todd, of course, had been a part-timer at the Sawmill TJ's and had been transferred to the new store and to full-time status. Todd was an amazing person... He was very strong and very gentle, all at the same time. He taught me a lot about retailing and specialty grocery. I enjoyed working products with Todd. I like to tell others that, as Todd might have said, "Stock goes out (leaves the backroom), it doesn't come back" ('go-backs' are cases that can't be worked - put on shelves). Todd was driven, a focused man.
Later, there was a "management situation" at the Sawmill store, and things happened that no one wanted to talk about. The next thing I knew, Todd was gone - reassigned back at Sawmill. He was still full-time and that was good, but his absence left a void in my life. Several weeks later, I was working at the Easton store and answered the phone. It was Todd, looking to speak with someone there. I took the opportunity to tell Todd how much he meant to me; how much he had taught me; and how much I missed him.
The irony is that, in life or death, the power of his personality have stayed with me since those days. Todd, we miss you. Thanks for walking with us and teaching us.

Best regards,
Jack Farnlacher
